ANWIL, part of the ORLEN Group, will continue its title sponsorship of the W\u0142oc\u0142awek Basketball Club for the 2025\/26 season. ORLEN will also remain the club’s strategic sponsor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
ANWIL’s longstanding support has significantly contributed to the team’s achievements, establishing it as a prominent representative of the city and region. The ANWIL logo will once again feature prominently on the players’ jerseys. This continued sponsorship strengthens the foundation for the club’s future growth and allows it to compete at top levels both nationally and internationally. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite the challenging conditions in the industry that ANWIL operates in, the decision to maintain the title sponsorship was made. In a move to streamline its sponsorship activities, ANWIL has withdrawn from other sponsorship ventures but believes that support for local basketball is an investment in the community’s identity. “We expect the team to fully commit and strive for the best possible results in the upcoming season, which our employees and fans have come to expect,” stated Konrad Tajdu\u015b, CEO of ANWIL. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The sponsorship agreement between ANWIL, ORLEN, and the W\u0142oc\u0142awek Basketball Club will remain in effect until the end of June 2026. ORLEN’s logo will be displayed on prime advertising locations at the Hala Mistrz\u00f3w in W\u0142oc\u0142awek, including the court, backboards, and LED boards, as well as on the players’ sports uniforms. The consistent exposure of the ORLEN logo during televised and online broadcasts of national league games and European cup competitions will ensure that the ORLEN Group reaches thousands of basketball fans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Historically, Anwil W\u0142oc\u0142awek has won the national championship three times, claimed the runner-up position eight times, and secured bronze medals four times. The club has also triumphed in the Polish Cup four times and in the Polish Supercup three times. In the 2024\/25 season, the team narrowly missed out on a podium finish in the ORLEN Basket League, losing a closely contested playoff match for third place against Trefl Sopot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
