The 34th Enea Leszno Balloon Cup commences on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, featuring nearly 50 hot air balloons. This annual event attracts balloonists from across the region, culminating in the Leszczyńska Noc Balonowa, a spectacular night balloon display scheduled for Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Leszno Airport.
This year’s competition includes 20 teams competing for top honors, alongside an additional 20 balloons participating in a concurrent balloon fiesta. A total of seven flights are planned throughout the event, starting on Wednesday afternoon and continuing through the weekend. Flights occur early in the morning at sunrise and two hours before sunset, providing optimal conditions for the pilots and stunning views for spectators. The highlight, Leszczyńska Noc Balonowa, promises to deliver an impressive aerial show, attracting large crowds. In 2024, approximately 15,000 attendees participated in this event, showcasing not only the balloon teams but also gliders, airplanes, and paramotors at the airport.
