Poland's PZTS announces top table tennis teams for 2025

The Polish Table Tennis Association (PZTS) has released the roster of teams competing in the highest leagues for the 2025/26 season. In the women’s Ekstraklasa, Palmiarnia ZKS Zielona Góra will participate, while ASTS Olimpia Grudziądz will compete in the men’s Lotto Superliga. Notably, MUKS Start Nadarzyn has withdrawn from the women’s league, and KS Gwiazda Bydgoszcz has exited the men’s league. Both Palmiarnia and Olimpia have secured their places in these elite divisions by acquiring licenses.

Defending champions include the women’s PGE Fibrain AZS Politechnika Rzeszów and the men’s Dekorglass Działdowo. The Ekstraklasa will feature eight teams: KTS Enea Siarkopol Tarnobrzeg, Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny AZS Wrocław, Bebetto AZS UJD Częstochowa, KS Bronowianka Kraków, SKTS Sochaczew, and newcomers ATS Akanza AZS UMCS Lublin.

The Lotto Superliga consists of 12 teams, including Dekorglass and Olimpia, which finished last season in 12th place. Other teams in the league are Dartom Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Balta AZS AWFiS Gdańsk, Villa Verde Olesno, Bank Spółdzielczy Orlicz 1924 Suchedniów, Akademia Zamojska Trefl Zamość, Petralana Polonia Bytom, Energa Manekin Toruń, KTS Gliwice, and TTcup.com Polonia Wąchock, who will make their debut in the league.

The first two rounds in both the Ekstraklasa and Lotto Superliga are scheduled for September 5 and 7.
